Bank of New York Accused of Money Laundering

"Crime and the New World Order - A Dark and Creepy Intersection of Global Narco-Conspiracies?"

Originally posted October 1st, 1999

It appears that the Bank of New York may have some explaining to do. Somehow, roughly 10 Billion dollars of Russian Crime money may have been laundered through this prestigious and powerful financial institution. This ain't chump change. It begs the question: How many mere millions have gone undetected through this institution of high integrity and super audits? And for how long? And by which Narco-Democracies such as Colombia, Mexico and certain Asian countries in which the United States has been conducting secret Counter-Drug Wars? And most importantly, just who is profiting from these multi-Billion dollar transactions?

Do not expect the truth to be revealed soon, although this analysis may aid the serious student of conspiracy theory in their pursuit of truth. The enormity of these sums of money boggles the mind. The very nature of this type of white collar crime implies a vast and continuing cooperation between very powerful Internationalists -- both private and government. This, my friends, is the definition of conspiracy.

These are the same people and organizations who are entrusted to design and construct the legal, social, and economic architecture of nations. These folks decide the interest rates and terms of your debt, the rate of taxation on your income, products and services, and even the price of illegal drugs to the consumer. Say what? The price of illegal drugs to the consumer? Yep. Folks, need I remind you that the illegal drug trade is the most lucrative enterprise the world has ever known? Not only is the worldwide sale of these products extremely profitable, due to their illegality, but the war on these products (how can you have a war on a product?) provides great wealth to the warriors. Put both of these together and what do you get? An economic phenomenon which rivals the Industrial Revolution of the past and the Technological Revolution of the present.

There is no way this has escaped the notice of those whose primary purpose in life is the acquisition and control of money, power and the lives of ordinary people. Not that ordinary and decent people can't also be lured into this web of dark international deceit and corruption. Not by a long shot. Many peoples ability to feed their families depend on this farce. From the poppy fields of Thailand to the Executive offices of the DEA and apparently (just maybe) the boardrooms of SuperBanks, there is money to be made on either side.

If you are a citizen of the United States, there are banking and transaction laws which you may not be aware of. Such as, if you buy an automobile or open a banking account in which you use 10,000 dollars in cash you will be reported to various Federal Agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service. The idea behind these laws is based upon the proposition that you may be involved in the illegal drug trade or other criminal activities. It seems only logical to me that if I deposit several billion dollars over a brief period of time in one or more banks that I could expect a knock on my door from some very serious, humorless MIB types.

This brings us back to the Bank of New York, the Russians and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). It appears that a great deal of the dirty money involved may have originated from loans granted by the IMF. Where does the IMF receive its money to loan? Try the Federal Reserve System of the United States. Your taxes fund the IMF. Now, the current situation in Russia is rife with corruption. In fact its economy depends on this and, until the Russians understand the notions of secure private property rights, contract law, and a legitimate court system which enforces these concepts, it will remain corrupt to the max. Both the IMF and the Bank of New York are acutely aware of this. You would think that they would take every precaution not to soil their own reputations, but alas, where large sums of money are involved... who cares?

Ah, but if it were only that simple. I contend that it is indeed more complicated and sinister than just the age old story of large sums of money, temptation, opportunity and the willingness to risk getting caught. It is my contention that there are real reasons why intelligent and thoughtful people would continue this Global Conspiratorial insanity called the War on Drugs. And those reasons have no connection to the moral or negative consequences of peaceful people indulging themselves as consumers of these risky products. After all, the prohibition era of the United States during the 1930s demonstrated clearly and profoundly the inability of laws to govern these types of choices people make with their lives. Any thoughtful person with integrity understands this and is compelled to look deeper into this modern marvel we are witnessing.

It is my contention that certain very powerful international figures are profiting beyond their wildest imaginations by being directly involved in the illegal Global Drug Trade. I'm not talking about the everyday corruption you might find in Colombia or Mexico or US Airline workers or US Customs -- I'm talking about the first world of international finance and politics. A wink here, a nod there, and a chuckle at the right time can work wonders with one's subordinates. The occasional plane crash on foreign soil doesn't hurt either, unless of course you're the unlucky target of such disciplinary measures. And who can blame these folks? Let's not forget the type of criminals they may have to deal with from time to time. Imagine if you were approached by a couple of strangers and given a couple of choices. Choice #1; Become wealthier than your wildest dreams and share this great fortune with your family, just look the other way at the right time OR Choice #2; Watch videos of your precious children being dismembed with chain saws. Ouch! The choice is a no brainer. Most of us will take door #1, even knowing that once we have entered that door it may lead to our eventual doom. But, it's tons better than door #2.

So you doubt these things happen? Consider the fate of the Justices of the Supreme Court of Colombia. They were all killed by a Colombian Cocaine Cartel Assault Force (yes, they have their own armies, navies and air forces ) and the Justice Building housing the court records was set aflame. Now that is a message that all the world's movers and shakers listen to.

So, as you can see, there is enormous profit in the Sale of Drugs, the War on Drugs, and the Politics of Drugs. Equally important is that there are grave consequences if you decline to cooperate. It may seem farfetched, but I just bet the money laundering scandal vis a vis the Bank of New York, Russian Mafiosos , the IMF and their Global Puppeteers intersect at this dark and creepy crossroads.
